From Entrepreneur to Skilled Artisan Empowerment Leader
Annapurna quit her corporate career in 2006 to become an entrepreneur. Her journey took a transformative turn in 2013 when she was entrusted with training 650 women in eco-friendly bag making through ALEAP and the Ministry of Textiles.
The Birth of Mathesis Eco Ways LLP
After the training, 15-20 women were interested but lacked confidence. They urged Annapurna to start a unit where they could make jute bags while she handled marketing and sales. This partnership between rural women and urban expertise became Mathesis Eco Ways LLP in 2015.
